The Technical Product Owner is the technical key driver responsible for maximizing the product's value through the collaborative delivery efforts of the Team

Your mission

  • Clarifying Requirements: Collaborate closely with the engineers to ensure requirements are clear and understandable, addressing questions on both functional and technical aspects
  • Managing Product Backlog: Create and manage the product backlog, which includes both functional requirements and technical aspects such as architecture and infrastructure requirements
  • Proritization: Ensure items in the product backlog are prioritized based on value to the customer, the company, and technical requirements, including addressing technical debt and optimizing architecture 
  • Release Planning: Work with the engineers/the agile team to create release plans, ensuring features are released in a timely manner and at regular intervals, considering technical aspects and dependencies 
  • Setting Acceptance Criteria: Define clear acceptance criteria for each product backlog item to ensure finished features meet both functional and technical requirements
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess (technical) risks related to the product and collaborate with the team to take appropriate measures to mitigate risks
  • Iteration Planning: Plan iterations and sprints to ensure the development team continuously works on delivering product increments, considering technical tasks and dependencies 

We are looking for Technical Acumen & Credibility:  

  • Understand technical concepts and challenges 
  • Have technical knowledge to earn the respect of the engineering team and understand their needs  
  • Be an Innovative Problem-Solver and challenge the status quo
  • Identify creative solutions to overcome obstacles 
  • Have an analytical approach to evaluate ideas and proposals thoroughly 
  • Spot potential issues and pressure points

Your profile

  • University degree in Computer Science, business administration or equivalent qualification 
  • At least 4-5 years of experience within the IT industry 
  • Profound experience with UML, Restful APIs, Designs Patterns & Cloud Providers (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
  • Experience in software development
  • Ability to understand complexity metrics in the software development area
  • Strong experience in IT/ Software specification and design 
  • Business know how in the automotive/ mobility industry is a plus 
  • Solid communication skills, an agile mindset and the ability to work independently as well as team-oriented 
  • Fluency in English, German is a plus
