The Portfolio Team plays a crucial role in defining and driving the organisation's roadmap and budgets. We cooperate with important stakeholders on development of the processes so that it supports the company strategy in the best way. We are responsible for aligning the corporate strategy and overall priorities to ensure the success and growth of the company's product offerings. As an intern in the Portfolio Team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the dynamic and strategic decision-making process, gaining valuable insights into portfolio management and its impact on the organization's success and learning cross functional collaboration and engagement 

 

Your mission

As an intern in the Portfolio Team, you will be involved in various tasks and responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Defining and Driving Portfolio Strategy: Introducing our Portfolio Approach into the company. You are introducing structures, principles, and processes to new areas within DCS, to provide more transparency and steering possibilities. Working closely with the team, you will contribute to the development and execution of the portfolio strategy, by ensuring alignment with the corporate strategy, company OKRs as well as the company top level KPIs.  
  • Prioritisation and Roadmaps: Ensuring transparent and up-to-date roadmaps across the different Products and Services of DCS. As part of our Portfolio Management Team, you are guiding our Product and IT Teams with multiple Scrum Teams through the prioritization and planning cycles for ensuring aligned plans. You will assist in maintaining an up-to-date DCS roadmap, ensuring that all product-related information is accurate and readily accessible. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of the portfolio, identifying gaps and opportunities for growth
  • Program Management and Standardization: You will support program management activities across different product teams to successfully deliver portfolio targets. Additionally, you will contribute to standardizing product-related processes and procedures, promoting efficiency and consistency across the organization.
  • Resource Planning: You will support and assist in setting up resource planning processes on what resources are required to deliver which deliverables and then allocating those resources based on the prioritization to the team’s capacities. Identify, forecast and then plan the resources based on company strategy and OKRs.  

     

     You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in portfolio management, product management, and cross-functional collaboration. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and within a team
     

Your profile

  • Student or studied Business Administration, Industrial / Systems Engineering  or any other related field
  •  Ideally able to begin December, 2024 and available for 9-12 months (minimum 6 months) 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines. 
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality in work. 
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint to analyse and present data effectively. 
  • Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Productboard, Jira and Confluence) is helpful. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Additional language skills are a plus. 
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
