Join our IT team based in Munich and get a chance to work alongside experienced professionals.
Your mission:
- Technical Support: Provide first-level technical support to employees, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, setting up new devices, and assisting with network connectivity problems.
- System Maintenance: Assist in routine maintenance of IT systems, including updating software, managing backups, and ensuring antivirus protection is up-to-date.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of technical issues, solutions provided, and IT assets. Help create and update user manuals and other documentation as needed.
- Project Assistance: Support ongoing IT projects, such as system upgrades, network improvements, and software deployments. Provide logistical and technical assistance as required.
- Inventory Management: Help manage IT inventory, including tracking equipment loans and returns, and ensuring proper storage of IT assets.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in IT support to provide the best possible service and solutions.
Your profile:
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking principles. Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, macOS) and common office software (Microsoft Office Suite).
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Customer Service: Patient, friendly, and professional demeanour with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
- Organization: Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and contribute to team goals.
- Availability: Available for 9-12 months and flexibility to work part-time hours that accommodate your academic schedule, with availability for occasional extended hours during peak periods or emergencies.
